The Saint-Ambroise church spans 87 meters in length and features twin towers reaching 68 meters high on Boulevard Voltaire.
The current structure, designed by Théodore Ballu between 1863 and 1868, replaced an earlier church built in 1659 by the Annonciades de Popincourt order.
The church contains sculptures, paintings, and stained glass windows created between 1866 and 1869, demonstrating various artistic techniques of the period.
The church welcomes visitors from Monday through Saturday between 8:00 and 19:00, with modified hours on Sundays for religious services.
The grand organ installed in 1869 represents one of the earliest instruments produced by the Cavaillé-Coll workshop in Paris.
