Hôtel de Vitry is a classical private mansion located at Place des Vosges in Paris's 3rd arrondissement. The building features a regular stone facade with tall windows, red brick, and covered arcaded passages that run along the entire square's front.

The mansion was built in the early 1600s as part of King Henry IV's royal urban planning projects. It received protection as a classified historical monument in 1920 and retains its original character from that early period.

The residence forms part of a square that shaped how Paris's upper classes lived in the 1600s. Here you can see how nobles designed their homes with matching facades and covered galleries following royal guidelines.

The property sits at Place des Vosges and is viewable from the street but accessible only from the outside. The square itself is easy to reach on foot and has access points from several nearby streets.

The mansion carries several successive names: hôtel de Guiche, de Boufflers, de Duras and Lefebvre-d'Ormesson, alongside Vitry. Its entrance door leaves, the vantaux, were listed with the gallery on the square in 1956, separately from the 1920 listing of facades and roofs. Look for the small blue plaque with the number 24 on the stone surround of the green arched door.
