Chateau de Couterne

Chateau de Couterne is a Renaissance castle in Rives d'Andaine with rectangular towers and ornamental stonework along its facade. The property extends across grounds planted with mature trees and formal garden spaces arranged around the main building.

Jehan de Frotté built this castle during the 16th century while serving in the court of Marguerite de Navarre. The structure underwent modifications and additions across the following centuries that shaped its current form.
