The Château de Villersexel features a 72-meter-long gallery with large windows and grand halls with ceilings reaching heights of 6.5 meters throughout the structure.
The current castle, built between 1882 and 1887 by architect Eugène Gustave Edouard Danjoy, replaced an earlier structure destroyed during the Battle of Villersexel in 1871.
The castle library contains over 10,000 volumes, including early printed books and regional treaties, representing centuries of French intellectual heritage.
Visitors can explore the castle grounds, which include the main building, stables, an 18th-century farm, and gardens with ruins of the original structure.
The dining room displays neo-Gothic decorations, featuring a bronze chandelier and Aubusson tapestry, while maintaining its original 19th-century design elements.
