Abbaye de Saint-Florent-le-Vieil

The Abbaye de Saint-Florent-le-Vieil is a Benedictine abbey perched on a rocky promontory above the Loire Valley. The structure combines classical architectural elements with fortified walls that rise prominently from the surrounding landscape.
