Baou des Quatre Oures, Mountain summit in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France.
The limestone peak reaches an elevation of 576 meters, forming part of the Monts Toulonnais range between Mont Caume and Mont Faron.
The summit contains remnants of an eighteenth-century fortification that British forces destroyed during their military campaign in 1793.
According to Frédéric Mistral's 1878 Provençal-French Dictionary, the name translates to either 'summit of Four Hours' or 'summit of Four Winds'.
The mountain features over 500 climbing routes across 26 sectors, with lengths varying from short paths to extended routes of 90 meters.
The mountain base contains inhabited caves, while the peak displays a wooden cross and maintains classification as a Natura 2000 environmental site.
