Bourse du Travail, Art Deco concert hall in 3rd arrondissement, France.
The Bourse du Travail features a grand auditorium with 1,920 seats, decorated with geometric patterns and noble materials throughout its interior spaces.
Built between 1929 and 1936 by architect Charles Meysson, this labor exchange building transformed from a workers' meeting space into a performance venue in 1966.
The exterior wall displays a large mosaic created in 1934 by 35 artists, depicting scenes of urban development and labor in Lyon.
The venue contains 55 union offices, five meeting rooms, two congress halls, and archives, accessible via the Place Guichard - Bourse du Travail metro station.
The building maintains its dual function as both a contemporary entertainment venue and a space for labor union activities, preserving its original social purpose.
