Château Saint-Sixte

Château Saint-Sixte is a castle with an unusual oval layout and four polygonal towers at each corner, connected by buildings that form an enclosed courtyard. The entire structure is surrounded by its original moat system.

The castle was founded in the 12th century by Wirich de Valcourt and underwent major renovations during the Renaissance and 18th century. These changes reflect shifting demands for defense and living comfort over time.
