Château d'Andert

Château d'Andert is a castle in Andert-et-Condon featuring a distinctive U-shaped layout with two main wings flanked by towers and a monumental entrance gateway. The complex displays architectural features from multiple periods, with visible stone walls and portal elements throughout its structure.

The castle was built in 1461 as a military stronghold before being converted into a country residence in 1655. This transformation is documented by an inscription from that year and marks a significant shift in the building's function and use.
