The Château d'Arginy features a quadrangular layout with four circular corner towers and two concentric walls surrounded by deep moats.
Built in the 12th century, the castle underwent major renovations in the 15th and 16th centuries under the ownership of different noble families.
The castle holds connections to the Knights Templar through Guillaume de Beaujeu, whose remains returned from Saint-Jean-d'Acre to France.
The castle facades and roofs received protection status as a historical monument on July 1, 1974, maintaining private ownership.
The central tower, named Tour des Huit Béatitudes, stands as a 13th-century brick construction within the castle complex.
