Château Chavat is a neoclassical castle in Podensac featuring Art Deco stained glass windows crafted by Bordeaux glassmaker Léon Delmas throughout its interior spaces. These refined glass panels showcase detailed artistry and add decorative elegance to the rooms.
The castle was built in 1917 under architect Marmisse who also designed the surrounding park layout. A notable water tower on the grounds was designed by the renowned architect Le Corbusier.
The park features marble and bronze sculptures, including Renaissance works and antique replicas from the Nelli Foundry, signed by artist Pio Welonski.
