Château de Dampierre-en-Burly

The main pavilion features a stone facade with a posterior section constructed of stone and brick, including a clock-equipped chimney stack.

The estate belonged to the Cugnac family during the 15th and 16th centuries, receiving barony status in 1598 under François II de Cugnac.

Painter Michel Dorigny contributed to the castle's decorations between 1616 and 1665, adding artistic value to its architectural features.

The castle consists of one main pavilion and four smaller entrance pavilions, all protected under the monument historique designation since 1928.

Agronomist Amédée de Béhague transformed the property in 1826 by creating an extensive 2,000-hectare estate around the castle.
