Château de la Celle, Heritage castle in La Celle-Saint-Cloud, France

The central structure of Château de la Celle features a symmetrical external staircase and two pavilions with distinct long pan roofs on each side.

The main building, constructed in 1616 for Claude Sandras, replaced a pavilion built by monks of Saint-Germain-des-Prés in the sixteenth century.

The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs maintains this historical monument for diplomatic events and official gatherings near Paris.

The castle stands at coordinates 48.851944, 2.140556, approximately six kilometers north of Versailles at 4 Avenue Pescatore in La Celle-Saint-Cloud.
