Château de Lesquiffiou

Chateau de Lesquiffiou is a 17th century castle in Brittany featuring a classical facade in the Louis XV style that was added during the 19th century. The complex includes expansive grounds with several wooded areas surrounding the main building.

The building was constructed in 1698 and passed through several prominent Breton families over the centuries. A later renovation in the 19th century gave it its present classical appearance.

The name comes from the Lesquiffiou family who established the estate in the 17th century. The castle library contains a firsthand account written by a soldier that reveals much about life during that era.

The grounds and facilities are available for hosting events and receptions with space for temporary structures. Visitors should expect outdoor areas and dress accordingly, as much of the property consists of open and wooded spaces.

The property is divided into five distinct wooded areas that give the castle unique character. This layout creates separate natural spaces within the grounds that make the visit feel varied and engaging.
