Château de Sainte-Suzanne, Classical château in Montsenelle, France.

Château de Sainte-Suzanne is a classical château in Montsenelle with pink brick walls and stone frames, distinguished by a central projection topped with a triangular pediment. The pediment is decorated with a coat of arms, and the facade features five window bays per floor in symmetrical arrangement.

René-Jacques-François-Bonaventure de Mauconvenant commissioned this classical château in 1780, replacing an earlier manor house on the site. The building has since remained within the same family across multiple generations.

The château displays classical French design with symmetrical facades and rows of windows reflecting 18th century craftsmanship. Visitors can observe these architectural details in the arrangement of stone frames and pink brick walls.

The château is accessible to visitors during warmer months and offers guided tours. It is wise to check in advance for exact visiting times, as these follow seasonal schedules.

Three tree-lined avenues with oak trees lead to the château and shape the landscape of the grounds. These shaded paths are a distinctive feature of the property and invite a leisurely walk.
