Château du Vieux Bostz

Château du Vieux Bostz is a castle in Besson with a rectangular footprint, corner towers in both square and round shapes, and a surrounding park planted with century-old trees. The buildings are arranged to create an integrated defensive layout characteristic of medieval strongholds.

The property first appears in records connected to Pierre Mareschal, whose holdings later changed hands through inheritance. Nicolas Chaumas purchased the land in 1578 and began developing it into a noble residence.
