Château d'Heudicourt, Historic castle in Heudicourt, France

The Château d'Heudicourt consists of pink brick buildings from the 18th century, surrounded by dry moats and a French garden with pathways.

The castle, built in 1574 by Michel Sublet, steward of Marshal Joyeuse, transformed into a prison during the French Revolution before Count Estève acquired it in 1804.

The interior preserves a guards' room, a library, and multiple salons containing artifacts from the periods of Louis XIV and the Empire.

The castle opens from April through October, with adult admission at 8 euros and children's tickets at 4 euros for guided tours.

A one-kilometer path lined with plane trees and lime trees leads visitors to the castle entrance through geometrically designed gardens.
