Château de Rochambeau

The castle exhibits classical French architecture with square pavilions and mansard roofs along the banks of the Loir River.

The bedroom of Marshal Rochambeau remains unchanged since 1807, preserving the furniture and layout from this historical period.

The castle, designated as a historical monument since 1969, requires prior authorization for visits as it remains private property.

A 2.8-kilometer lime tree avenue, planted under Marshal Rochambeau's direction, extends along the left bank of the Loir River.
