Domaine de la Baronnie

The Domaine de la Baronnie contains multiple buildings including a restored manor house, a barn, and traces of an ancient chapel of Saint-Symphorien.

The estate became a barony in 1072 and belonged to the Bishops of Bayeux until the French Revolution, when it was sold as national property.

The Grand Logis includes several named halls such as Salle des Évêques and Salle Agnès Aignan, which preserve the medieval architectural heritage.

Located 300 meters from Saint-Rémy Church, the estate offers various rooms and venues suitable for events, meetings, and celebrations throughout the year.

Thomas de Douvres, who later became Archbishop of York, and his brother Samson, treasurer of Bayeux Church, maintained strong connections to this estate.
