Golf de Rouen La Forêt Verte opened in 1989 on the edge of the Forêt Verte, the beech forest north of Rouen that gives the club its name. The 18-hole course was laid out on open farmland at Bosc-Guérard-Saint-Adrien, with the wooded horizon of the forest as its backdrop. A separate 9-hole compact course was added later for teaching and beginners.
The golf school welcomes children from age 4 to 18, with groups organised by age and level. Younger pupils train on the compact 9-hole course among the fruit trees, while older juniors move to the full 18-hole layout. Lessons are run by the club's teaching professionals.
