Hôtel d'Espie

Hôtel d'Espie is a private mansion from the 18th century in central Toulouse, designed with an elegant facade and carefully laid-out courtyards. The building spans two floors with tall arched windows opening toward both the courtyard and garden, allowing natural light to fill the interior spaces.

The wealthy military officer Felix-Francois d'Espie commissioned architect Hyacinthe de Labat de Savignac to design this residence in 1750 following his distinguished career. The house became a physical expression of his accomplishments during a prosperous period in Toulouse's history.

Today it houses Belgium's Honorary Consulate and plays an active role in the city's diplomatic community. The rooms still reflect the refined lifestyle that shaped the building when it served wealthy families during the 1700s.
