Hôtel de Blossac, Classical private mansion in historic center, Rennes, France.

The Hôtel de Blossac features two main wings with a grand staircase, marble finishes, and a golden salon decorated with ornate architectural elements.

Built in 1728 by the La Bourdonnaye family, the mansion served as the residence for the Commanding Officer of Brittany province until 1789.

The building represents the architectural preferences of 18th-century French nobility, displaying classical design principles throughout its structure and decorations.

The Direction régionale des affaires culturelles occupies the building at 6 rue du Chapitre, with public access limited to European Heritage Days.
