Hôtel de Masseran, Neoclassical mansion in 7th arrondissement, France.

The Hôtel de Masseran spans 3,000 square meters with a garden of 1,590 square meters, featuring Corinthian pilasters on its garden-facing façade.

Constructed in 1787 by architect Alexandre-Théodore Brongniart for Carlo Sebastiano Ferrero Fieschi, Prince of Masserano, who had familial connections to King Louis XVI.

The mansion served as a center of Parisian social life, hosting notable events including a grand ball in 1939 that recreated Versailles grandeur.

The property stands at 11 rue Masseran, currently owned by the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire and listed for sale at 150 million euros in 2023.

The building influenced literature when Raymond Radiguet used its social gatherings as inspiration for his novel Le Bal du comte d'Orgel.
