Hôtel de Rohan-Guémené, Private mansion in Le Marais, Paris, France

The Hôtel de Rohan-Guémené stands at 6 Place des Vosges, featuring a central structure with two wings and ten facade windows on each side.

Built in 1605 by Isaac Arnauld, the mansion changed ownership multiple times before being acquired by Prince Louis de Rohan in 1637.

Victor Hugo resided in this mansion from 1832 to 1848, writing significant literary works including parts of Les Misérables in his second-floor apartment.

The building now houses the Victor Hugo Museum, which opened in 1903 and displays manuscripts, furniture, and personal items from the author's life.

The mansion contains one of the last remaining Louis-Philippe fountains in Paris, located within its inner courtyard.
