Hôtel de Soyecourt, Private mansion in 1st arrondissement of Paris, France
Hôtel de Soyecourt is a private mansion in the 1st arrondissement of Paris featuring stone facades, pilasters, and tall windows. The property includes several interior courtyards, residential apartments, office space, and a garden enclosed by high walls.
The building was constructed in 1707 as Hôtel de Maisons and initially served as the residence of Claude de Longueil. The Soyecourt family acquired the property in 1732, and it bears their name to this day.
The mansion displays classical French aristocratic design through its gilded reception rooms and refined interior elements. These features reflect the elevated social position of those who once lived here and shaped how the space was organized.
Keep in mind that this is a private residence not open to the public, and you can only view it from outside. The courtyards and garden are not accessible, but the architectural details of the facades can be appreciated from the street.
The property became known as one of the most expensive houses in Paris following a major real estate transaction in 2010. This sale made it a symbol of luxury property trading in the French capital.
