Choux de Créteil

Choux de Créteil is a residential complex composed of ten cylindrical towers and one central circular building, distinguished by white petal-shaped balconies across its facades. The ensemble measures 21 meters in diameter and creates a distinctive visual effect resembling vertical gardens wrapped around each structure.

Architect Gérard Grandval designed the ensemble between 1969 and 1974 on former market gardening land that once supplied vegetables to Paris. This transformation demonstrates how the site shifted from agricultural use to urban residential development.
