Le Transbordeur

Le Transbordeur is a music venue in a former water treatment plant that features three separate areas for different types of events. The main hall has tiered seating for large audiences, while a smaller club space serves more intimate gatherings, and an outdoor terrace hosts seasonal performances.

The building served as a water treatment facility until 1989, when local authorities converted it into a music venue. The British band New Order performed the opening concert, marking the start of its life as a performance space.

The venue's name comes from the industrial crane that still spans the building, which visitors can see when they enter the smaller club area. This working machine connects the space to its past as a factory while serving as a reminder of how the place was repurposed for music.

The venue is easy to reach and offers different entry points depending on which area you're visiting for an event. It helps to check ahead which space your concert or show will be in, since each section has its own entrance and feel.
