Passerelle de la Paix

The Passerelle de la Paix is a pedestrian and bicycle bridge spanning the Rhône River with two separate levels. The upper level accommodates both walkers and cyclists while the lower pathway serves pedestrians only.

The bridge was constructed starting in 2011 and opened to the public in 2014 as a modern river crossing. This project emerged from the need to improve connections between the two riverbanks.

The bridge's name honors the multicultural community of the nearby neighborhood that uses it daily. Visitors notice how locals and travelers alike cross freely between the two riverbanks.

The bridge offers accessible paths for different types of movement, with wide levels for safe walking or cycling. Visiting on dry days helps you fully enjoy the crossing and views.

A wide viewing platform sits at the bridge's center, allowing people to stop and observe the river. This spot makes a natural resting point during the crossing.
