Palais des Glaces

The Palais des Glaces is a theater and cinema venue in Paris's 10th arrondissement with two performance spaces. The main hall accommodates roughly 500 spectators arranged in orchestra and balcony sections for a variety of shows.

The building was originally constructed in 1876 as Boléro Star for musical performances and underwent reconstruction in 1924. Its current name comes from the mirror-covered facade that once decorated the exterior.

The venue became a center for French comedy performances starting in 1988 when it shifted its programming focus. Today, performers use the stages to present stand-up comedy and satirical shows to their audiences.

The venue is located on rue du Faubourg-du-Temple and regularly presents different shows throughout the week. Visitors should check what performances are scheduled and gather information beforehand to plan their visit properly.

In 1977, the theater hosted the historic Punk Night concert where Generation X, The Police, and The Jam performed on the same stage. This event turned the venue into a significant landmark in the music history of that era.
