Ouvrage Molvange, Military fortification in Entrange, France
The Molvange fortification consists of nine combat blocks and two entrance blocks, built into a hill at an altitude of 400 meters.
Built in 1930 as part of the Maginot Line, this large fortification served as a defense structure against potential invasions from the eastern border.
The fortification represents French military engineering expertise with its network of underground galleries, barracks, kitchens, and ammunition storage facilities.
The complex contained living quarters for 711 soldiers and 24 officers, equipped with power generators, water reserves, and air filtration systems.
Four main power generators supplied electricity to the entire structure, with an additional auxiliary unit dedicated to emergency lighting.
