Pôle PIXEL, Media and architectural complex in Villeurbanne, France.
Pôle PIXEL is a converted industrial site with multiple buildings housing production studios, offices, and digital arts facilities across the complex. The various structures provide specialized spaces and audiovisual equipment for creative work.
The site was originally an electric flour mill built in 1901 and was converted into Pôle PIXEL in 2002 to support the audiovisual and digital creation industry. This transformation turned the historic location into a center for artistic production.
The complex houses production facilities where various television series and animated films have been made. Creative professionals use the spaces daily for their work on films, shows, and digital projects.
The complex offers rental spaces starting from 50 square meters with equipped studios and specialized audiovisual production equipment. A restaurant on the grounds provides meals and refreshments for visitors and employees.
The building preserves its original stepped gables and characteristic twin towers from its flour mill days, now housing over 600 permanent employees in creative sectors. This industrial architecture was carefully kept while the interior was completely modernized.
