Parc départemental Georges-Valbon

Parc départemental Georges-Valbon is one of the largest parks in the Paris region, spanning multiple municipalities with seven water bodies. The grounds feature eight hiking trails, playgrounds, bicycle rentals, and boat facilities for various activities.

The area was originally agricultural land that was transformed into a park during the late 20th century. Development began in the 1960s and continued over the following decades until completion.

The Maison Victoria Montou serves as a venue for exhibitions and gatherings where visitors can see local art and community initiatives. The equestrian center brings people together around horse sports, creating a focus for social activities across the park.

The park is open daily and offers multiple ways to explore the grounds throughout the day. Barbecue areas are available, and visitors can choose between hiking, cycling, or boating activities.

One section of the park contains a large rose garden with many varieties growing throughout the seasons. The grounds also feature planted bulbs annually, creating colorful displays that change with the year.
