The Parc des Impressionnistes covers 1.1 hectares on the Seine banks in Rueil-Malmaison, opposite the Île des Impressionnistes. Its gardeners arranged 250 varieties of perennials and rare shrubs into flower compositions based on the colours of the Impressionist palette. A water feature with a small kiosk and a wooden grenouillère echoes Claude Monet's garden at Giverny, alongside a rose garden, a white garden and a collection garden.

The park was completed in 1996 during the development of the Rueil-sur-Seine district. It sits opposite the Impressionists Island on the Seine riverbanks.

The name references the Impressionist movement that inspired this location. Visitors can observe how the flower arrangements reflect the colors that appear in paintings from that artistic period.

The park is entered from the allée Jacques Prévert, on the Seine side of the Rueil-sur-Seine district, opposite the Île des Impressionnistes. Its 1.1 hectares are laid out as a series of garden rooms, so allow time to walk from the water feature and wooden walkway to the rose garden, white garden and collection garden. The ground is largely flat and the paths are easy to follow.

The pond's wooden kiosk and plank walkway echo the garden of Claude Monet at Giverny, which the park's designers took as their model. Flat grey stepping stones cross the water beside the walkway, and a scalloped valance hangs from the kiosk roof.
