Square de la tour Saint-Jacques, Urban park in 4th arrondissement of Paris, France.
The Square de la Tour Saint-Jacques spans 0.6 hectares around a 52-meter Gothic tower, featuring pathways, benches, and green spaces for public recreation.
The City of Paris acquired this land in 1836, creating the first enclosed square designed by Adolphe Alphand during the extensive Haussmann urban renovations.
A statue of scientist Blaise Pascal stands in the park, marking the location where he conducted experiments on atmospheric pressure during the 17th century.
Visitors can access the park through multiple entrances near Châtelet station, connecting to metro lines 1, 4, 7, 11, and 14 for convenient transportation.
The park contains a paper mulberry tree and a white mulberry tree named 'Let Them Grow Here', planted in 2008 for the Réseau éducation sans frontière initiative.
