Created in 1930, this space commemorates the oath taken by Colonel Philippe Leclerc in Koufra, Libya, pledging to fight until the French flag flew over Strasbourg.
The central alley, named Allée Clarissa-Jean-Philippe, serves as a memorial pathway within the park, connecting different sections of this green urban space.
Visitors can access the park via the Porte d'Orleans metro station and tram line 3a, with multiple entry points around the perimeter of the grounds.
The park marks the exact location where the 2nd Armored Division entered Paris on August 25, 1944, during the liberation of the city.
