Timber Drop, Steel roller coaster in Jeanménil, France

The Timber Drop roller coaster features two inversions along its track and reaches speeds of 41 mph during its 80-second journey through the park.

The attraction opened on July 2, 2011, and temporarily held the world record for the steepest drop at 113.1 degrees until Takabisha in Japan surpassed it.

The roller coaster incorporates a forest theme with redwood elements, including trains passing through tree stumps and decorative cut logs around the structure.

Riders must be at least 122 centimeters tall to experience this attraction, which operates with single cars that accommodate four passengers in two rows.

For every 500 riders on Timber Drop, Fraispertuis City donates funds to plant one tree in Benin through the Trees for Life association.
