Saint Francis of Assisi Church,

The church structure displays exposed concrete framework that simulates wood elements, incorporating Byzantine, Romanesque, and Art Deco architectural elements throughout its design.

Construction of the church began in 1914 but faced interruption during World War I, with completion and inauguration taking place in 1926.

The building commemorates Saint Francis of Assisi, who established the Third Order of Saint Francis in 1222 and promoted environmental stewardship.

The central nave features a 1930 Mauméjean mural depicting Saint Francis receiving stigmata, complemented by stained glass windows illustrating Franciscan traditions.
