St. George's Church, Classical church in Vesoul, France.

St. George's Church is a classical place of worship with a three-story facade located in central Vesoul. Inside, a central nave runs through the building with two side aisles and six lateral chapels positioned along the walls.

Construction began in 1735 and was completed 10 years later under the architects Jean-Pierre Galezot and Jean Querret du Bois. During the Revolutionary period, it briefly held cathedral status before returning to its parish church role.

The church has served the local community for centuries and remains a gathering place for worship and reflection. Its presence defines the heart of the city and connects residents to their shared religious heritage.

The building sits on Place de l'Église in the heart of downtown Vesoul, making it easy to find and reach. Visitors can explore the exterior and interior at their own pace without restrictions.

Inside you will find around 40 protected artworks including paintings, sculptures, and a 19th-century pipe organ. These pieces showcase the artistic heritage that accumulated within these walls over generations.
