Église Saint Pierre, Renaissance church in Coutances, France.
Saint-Pierre Church features an octagonal lantern tower with four turrets and extends 42 meters in length with a 25-meter wide transept.
The church, documented in William the Conqueror's charter of 1056, underwent reconstruction in 1494 under Bishop Geoffroy Herbert's supervision.
Nine inscriptions from the 15th and 16th centuries engraved within the church record donations and memories of parishioners through generations.
The religious building remains open to visitors daily from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, offering free access and parking facilities nearby.
The church organ, built in 1656 and restored in 1845, represents an outstanding example of 17th and 18th-century craftsmanship.
