The Sacré-Cœur Church features two 70-meter towers with domes, a central portal, and a nave rising twenty-one meters with quadripartite ribbed vaults.
Construction began on May 15, 1877, under architect Jean-Jules Mondet and Cardinal Donnet, with the church finally opening for worship in 1883.
The church contains multiple altars dedicated to the Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph, decorated with sculptures depicting significant moments in Christian life.
Located at 4 rue Lefol in Bordeaux, the church maintains regular opening hours and provides informational brochures about its architecture and history.
Since 2014, priests from the Regnum Christi movement have managed the parish, maintaining perpetual adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
