Domaine de Terre Blanche, Luxury golf resort and estate in Tourrettes, Var, France.
This luxury resort spans 660 hectares in the Provence region and includes two championship golf courses, a five-star hotel with 115 suites and villas, a spa covering 34,445 square feet, and multiple dining establishments.
The estate was purchased by actor Sean Connery in 1979, who owned the property for two decades before selling it to German billionaire Dietmar Hopp in 1999, who transformed it into an upscale golf resort in 2004.
The resort showcases Mediterranean architectural design with natural materials and Provençal elements, and its restaurants highlight regional cuisine prepared with fresh produce sourced from local Côte d'Azur markets.
The resort is located 30 to 45 minutes by car from Cannes, Nice, and Saint-Tropez, and requires golfers to present a valid handicap certificate with a limit of 35 to play on the courses.
The two courses, Le Château and Le Riou, were designed by architect Dave Thomas and measure 6,616 meters and 6,005 meters respectively, with the latter restricted to members and hotel guests only.
