Monte San Petru

Monte San Petru is a mountain summit in the Alta Rocca region of Corsica that rises to 2,202 meters at its peak. From the top, you can see the Golfe du Valinco and Golfe d'Ajaccio spreading out across the landscape below.

Archaeological findings near the mountain show that people have lived in this region since prehistoric times. The evidence suggests the surrounding valleys and slopes were inhabited long ago.
