Pavillon des Indes, Courbevoie, Heritage building in Parc de Bécon, Courbevoie, France

The Pavillon des Indes presents a symmetrical wooden structure with two main sections connected by a gallery at 142 Boulevard Saint-Denis.

Initially constructed for the 1878 Paris World Exhibition to represent British India, the building was commissioned by the Prince of Wales, later Edward VII.

The pavilion functions as both a museum space open for guided tours and an artist residence, continuing its legacy of supporting contemporary creators.

Visitors can schedule guided tours of the museum section, with multiple dates available throughout January, February, March, and April 2025.

During its 1880s relocation to Courbevoie, the original ground floor became the first floor, while the former first floor was transformed into the ground level.
