Annunciation Church, 15th-century Baroque church in Corte, France.
The Annunciation Church is a Baroque structure with a lateral nave and an old bell tower integrated into the western side of the main building. The interior displays the typical features of this architectural period with carefully crafted details.
Construction began in 1450 under Bishop Ambroise Arrighi of Omessa and underwent significant modifications in 1655. These two phases shaped the building's current appearance.
The San Teòfalu side chapel holds a wax figure of Blaise de Signori, a Franciscan friar venerated as the patron saint of Corsica.
The church is located in Corte's center and open to visitors during appropriate times, though it remains an active place for the community. Visiting with respect for those who worship there is important.
