Villa Alicius is a two-story residence in Hauterives with a rooftop terrace overlooking the surrounding landscape. The building was constructed using lime concrete and is protected as a historical monument along with its adjoining structures, belvedere, and boundary fence.

Ferdinand Cheval had Villa Alicius built in lime concrete after the death of his daughter Alice, to whom the building is dedicated, and he lived there in retirement beside his Palais idéal. In 2010 the villa, its adjoining shed, hangar, belvedere, fencing and grounds were inscribed as monuments historiques.

The villa is named Alicius in memory of Ferdinand Cheval's daughter Alice, to whom he dedicated the building; she was not a resident. Cheval moved here after retiring, next to his Palais idéal, and the rooftop terrace was made for looking at the palace.

The villa stands north-east of the Palais idéal, and its rooftop terrace was built to look out over the monument. The 19 March 2010 listing covers the villa and its attached remise, plus the hangar, belvedere, fencing and grounds. The main facade has two upper levels and round-arched openings at the base.

The villa was built after the death of Cheval's daughter Alice, to whom he dedicated the building; her name gives the house its title. It stands northeast of the Palais idéal, and its rooftop terrace was made so Cheval could look out at the monument he had built by hand.
