Puig de l'Àliga, Mountain summit at French-Spanish border, Cerbère, France

Puig de l'Àliga rises to 527 meters, featuring crystalline schist and slate formations along the Mediterranean coastal range of the Pyrenees mountains.

The mountain has marked the natural boundary between France and Spain since 1659, when the Treaty of the Pyrenees established the current border.
