Aren'Ice

Aren'Ice is an ice sports facility in Cergy housing two Olympic-size ice rinks for competition and training. The main Eclipse arena seats 3,000 spectators while the Equinox training rink accommodates 320 for smaller events and practice sessions.

Construction began in June 2015 and the facility officially opened in November 2016 as France's national ice hockey center. This 44-million-euro project established a central hub for the country's ice hockey development and promotion.

The facility serves as the national headquarters for ice hockey in France, drawing players, coaches, and fans from across the country to train and compete. Ice hockey culture centers around this space, shaping the sporting identity of the region.

The facility offers open skating times on various days including Wednesday afternoons, Thursday evenings, and weekends, where visitors can rent skating equipment. Training programs are available for skaters of all levels, making the facility accessible to beginners and experienced visitors alike.

The Palet Residence within the facility houses 38 young ice hockey players pursuing professional careers with dedicated lodging and support services. This integrated accommodation setup creates a specialized training environment for aspiring athletes in one location.
