EDF-GDF tower, Office tower in Cergy Prefecture district, France

The EDF-GDF tower reaches a height of 85.3 meters and features 14 floors, with the top three floors dedicated to technical services without windows.

Built in 1974 to house Électricité de France and Gaz de France, the tower remained active until 2015 when Engie announced its intention to sell.

The tower gained recognition through its appearance in the 1979 film 'I... comme Icare', where it served as a central location for assassination scenes.

The building structure incorporates a water-filled tubular frame and a water tank at its summit for fire management purposes.

This building represents the first implementation of Colonel Mutin's patented construction style in France, built by the Durafour company.
