Zoo des 3 vallées

Zoo des 3 Vallees is a wildlife park spread across multiple valley landscapes, where over 600 animals from around 70 species live in open enclosures. The grounds cover a rolling area and allow visitors to observe many animal groups on relatively naturalistic settings.

This park opened in 2013 and rapidly built its animal collection, with carnivores like wolves and foxes gaining dedicated spaces. Development focused on housing diverse species in spacious enclosures while expanding visitor offerings over time.

The zoo takes its name from the three valleys that characterize the surrounding landscape. The layout of the enclosures follows natural geographic features, giving visitors a sense of how the park connects to its local setting.

Visit best by car or in groups, as the route through the facility follows set paths and distances. Chances to observe animals improve in early morning or late afternoon when temperatures are cooler and animals are more active.

Visitors drive through the grounds in their own vehicles, meaning they can access animal enclosures directly from their car windows. This setup creates unobstructed views of large herds and individual animals visible right from the road.
