Château de Lustrac

Château de Lustrac is a castle in Trentels, France, with four rectangular towers positioned at each corner of its main structure. The walls are built from brick and pale stone, creating a varied texture that faces the Lot River valley.

The castle was built in the early 14th century and received additional fortifications in the following centuries. Major restoration work took place from 1963 onward, strengthening its towers and overall structure.

A sawmill operated within the castle courtyard after a private owner took over in 1914, turning the medieval grounds into an industrial workshop. This unexpected use shows how the old stone structure adapted to modern work needs.
